Hi, I’m Makayla! I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and I started working with children in seventh grade—which is when my love for early childhood education began. I’ve been in a Montessori classroom for a little over a year now and have truly grown to love the Montessori approach.

As a Montessori teacher, I enjoy creating a calm, welcoming space where children feel comfortable exploring, learning, and becoming more independent. I love being part of each child’s journey through hands-on activities, outdoor play, and meaningful connections.

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy traveling, spending time outside, and being with family and friends. It’s such a joy and privilege to support children during this special stage of their lives.
